HI! im new here...

i have been reading post on this forum for many months and i wanted to thank you all for all the great posts and comments that have really helped me get through this hard year of fading.

my husband and i where born in jdubs and almost 1 year ago we started to fade , now that we think about it has been a few years that we were suffering from cognitive dissonance without knowing it.

we feel that finally we have our life back , a life that is just starting.

Welcome!! oufthelionsden, will hubby be posting also? I have deep feelings for what you are going through, as NE (my wife) stated, we age going through a very similar thing, right now. One of the two elders who showed up Monday is my cousin by marriage, we became very close, so I thought.

Hang in there it does get better, and better and better and better,. It is very good that you have support, each other. If you ever need to just talk please feel free to PM us. NE and I have been associated with this crazy religion for over 40 years. We understand there are times for private contact. Please feel free to do so.

both does a great job of defending me and making the elders look foolish!.

thank you raypublisher/jj and jwstruggle for the awesome job you did on it.. follow up story was not recorded but we will post it here hopefully over the weekend.. enjoy, it's pretty hilarious how they try to control us and come after me on a work of fiction!.

some love to ask you to enter with them into the "backroom".. of course, there were many that never had run-ins with the shepherds because they were under the radar.. did you ever get interrogatted by the elders and if so, how did it go??

I've made a career of it, in fact just last night, 2 showed up to investigate my apostasy (unannounced), must say, if you watched the video above, last night went much like that. these two elders were very quiet and let us hang ourselves. Along with a lot of bible bending especially when one said where will you go? I did not hesitate to correct him, I said NO, Peter said Whom shell we go to. When I showed the Greek Diaglott and how the NWT is a mistranslated Bible one elder ( who actually looked at the Greek spelling) looked very ill. At least one of them made a effort to look at it and read what we had, and why not it, it was all WT info. I feel we have crucified ourselves with WT Literature!!! last week a friend of mine contacted me out of the blue asking if we could have lunch together.

my friend has been studing with the jw's on and off for about 11-12 years i think.

she has told me everytime i see her that she can't wait for jehovah to end this evil world...she can't wait for the new system...the end is so close....etc.. i sent her a message back telling her that i left the jw's and asked her if she had heard that.

Get real. One little mistake is not going to change anyones mind who is so tied to the borg that they cannot see the truth that it is right in front of their face. Just look at the new lite that is coming up soon in the July 15 th WT. Try to convince your mom and dad that the new lite was NOT yesterdays (32years ago) APOSTATE thinking. i decided to ask this on the back of "lost"'s thread about yhvh etc.. quite often on here we get bible believers trying to tie the whole mess that is the bible together, and maintaining that it tells us about just one "true" god.. who is this "true" god, and what is the proof that he is true ?.

was he the god of abraham and melchizedech ?.

the god of the ordinary jew before the babylonian exile ?.

My two cents to this post. I do not rely on what other people say, I do my own research.

In Ray Franz's book: In search of Christian Freedom on pg 499 Ray uses a source named Rud Persson, (Google it) Rud makes the comment and without quoting the entire page, I will sum it up. " Those who copied or translated the Greek Septuagint placed the Heberw Tetragrammaton in the Greek text. They did not translate it into some Greek expressions corresponding to "Yahweh" or "Jehovah" or even transliterate the Hebrew letters into Greek letters." He further adds "on coming upon these four letters, tried to read them as Greek letters and thus pronounced them as "Pi Pi". Please note, the Greek Language has no translation for "JEHOVAH" as Lost notes it is an invented name,. If you did the research you will note the Name Jehovah first appears along with the King James VERSION bible, which in my opinion was a government-issued bible. At which point satan gets what he wants as recorded in Isiah 14: 13-14. He has made himself GOD, Thanks to the JWs, myself included, for preaching this for over 40 years, The world has been hoaxed into praying to Satan masked as JEHOVAH.

People all it takes to see this is some research and thinking ability. Known as common sense!

Lost. Just did a ISBN search of our Strongs concordance. June, 1940. but it is probably an exact reprint, NE tells me ISBN numbers were not used back then. But it is still an 1940 edition. Please PM us with your question.

Yep. I agree. Even the study conductors aren't aware of what was taught as 'New light' decades ago, that truly was NOT based solid on scriptures.
